• US Chess will issue badges to all participants. Badges will be required to enter the defined playing area.
  • Each participant registration in the tournament is allowed a single Accompanying Person

Friends and Family Tournament - Side Event Entry Fees

• $40 until Saturday, 12/12/2026, 10:00am EST

Format: 4 rounds, Swiss system pairings 

Time control: G/30, d5

Round times: Saturday, December 12th

• Round 1 - 10:30 AM
• Round 2 - 12:30 PM
• Round 3 - 2:30 PM
• Round 4 - 4:30 PM

Two sections: Rated Players and Unrated Players. 

Prizes: Trophies for parent and child combined results in their first four rounds.

• Anyone registering after 10 AM on Saturday will receive a half-point bye for the first round.
• May be broken into multiple sections if entries warrant it.
