 FORMAT 

  • ⚠ Bughouse variant ⚠ Show up with a teammate or get assigned one--see info below
  • Double round-robin: G/5, $10 entry per player by 11:59 on 4/11/26, $15 after that
  • Open section: Unrated, open to all players

 PRIZES 

  • Open section: 1st & 2nd teams

 SCHEDULE 

  • Onsite registration: 9:40-9:55 am
  • Rounds: 10:00 am, 10:15 am, 10:30 am, etc.
  • Lunch: 12:00 pm

 REGISTRATION 

  • Online registration is open until 9:45 am on Sunday, April 12th.
  • Onsite registration ends 5 minutes before round 1. Players enrolling later will get a 0-point bye.

 ABOUT BUGHOUSE 

BUGHOUSE involves two games played in tandem at a fast pace. Players on the same side are teammates and each gives the other their captured pieces. A player can drop a piece onto his own board instead of moving normally, even to create check or checkmate. Teammates can communicate openly.
