UNRATED BLITZ G/5;d0 — lichess.org or chess.com ratings will be used for section placement and pairings. Please include your online username when registering.
All payouts via PayPal, no exceptions. $200 prize fund based on 40 entries: 1st Champs $100, 1st Challengers $75, 1st Rooks $25.
All entries must be registered by 6:45 PM Oct 14th. NO EXCEPTIONS. Titled players enter free.
HOUSE RULES — CLOCK MOVE: a move is determined when the clock is pressed.
If you knock over a piece and do not restore it before pressing your clock while you have under 1 minute remaining, you lose the game.
Any illegal move, or leaving your king in check ("hung king"), can be claimed by the opponent for an immediate win.
Will Be doing Double Rounds. Number of rounds? As many as necessary to get a clear winner.
Sections: Champs, Challengers, and Rooks. The TD may adjust section placement using online ratings.
