Under 2100 (FIDE Rated) $1200 — $700 — $400 — $300

Under 1500 $1000 — $600 — $400 — $200
Under 1300 $600 — $400 — $300 — $200
Unrateds may not win over $200 in U1300, $250 in U1500, $300 in U1700, $350 in U1900

 

Minimum Prize Guarantee for foreign GM's and IM's
Must register by 8/13 and play all 9 rounds to qualify.
Limited to first 6 that qualify

GM's = $600
Foreign IM's = $300

ENTRY FEES: TIME CONTROLS AND PLAYING SCHEDULE:
  • $120 online by 8/13
  • $130 online by 8/27
  • $140 online by 9/02 - Open section only
  • $140 online by 9/03 - All other sections
  • $160 after that or onsite
    • $5 discount for ICA members

  • GMs/WGMs & all IL FIDE titled players (FM/WFM and above) free entry.
  • Out of state IMs $50 off. Online registration should recognize title.
  • Play-up one section up to U2100 for $25 extra. Must be within 200 points of next section. Must be at least 1100 to play up into U1500.
  • Play-up into Open $220 anyone below 2100 US Chess and below 2000 FIDE.
    • IL Jr. players over 1900 may play up into Open for $110

  • Entries later than 30 minutes before round 1 of any schedule receive 1/2-point bye for round 1.
  • You may play up one section for $25 extra. 
  • 1/2 point byes OK all rounds, must commit by end of round 2 (maximum 2)
  • Reentry available for $60 (no Open to open)
  • Default time is 1 hour
