3 Sections: Unrated Adult, Reserve(U1500), Open 

Sections are subject to combine under director’s discretion depending on attendance

Players USCF Rated under 1000 are eligible to play in the Unrated Adult Section

Unrated Adult

1st - $100 + USCF Membership

2nd - $50

Rapid 

5 Rounds Swiss of Game 24 minutes + 5 second delay

Entry Fee: $25 Onsite +$5 - Early Registration closes at 11:59 PM on February, 10th, 2023, and onsite closes at 9:30AM

Check-in: 8:45-9:30 AM

Round 1: 10:00am - Players must be seated 5 minutes prior to round for announcements

Round 2: 11:15am

Round 3: 1:30pm

Round 4: 2:45pm

Round 5: 4:00pm

Byes: Limit one half-point bye if requested prior to first round.

Withdrawals: 

If you decide to withdraw from the event, 

YOU MUST NOTIFY DIRECTORS RIGHT AWAY 

so that players next round will have an opponent to play

Bringing Boards and a Clock is Recommended, but not Required 

Blitz

5 Double Rounds of Game 3 minutes + 2 second increment

Entry Fee: $15 Onsite +$5 - Early Registration Closes at 11:59PM on February 10th, 2023, and onsite closes at 5:45PM

Check-in: 5:00-5:45 PM

1st round begins at 6:00pm following subsequent rounds end by ~8:00pm

PLAYERS MUST PLAY ALL BLITZ GAMES/ BYES WILL NOT BE HONORED

Parking: 

The Church parking lot space is limited to ~16 cars

Street parking is free on weekends and generally plentiful

There’s paid parking as well around the UWM Campus 

Closest is Union or Lubar Parking Garage $8-10 for the day

Refund Policy: If you register for the tournament and are unable to make it, please notify us at least one hour in advance of the start of round one. If this is done, then Milwaukee Chess will refund your entry fee less the cost of online registration ($1) and payment processing ($0.30 + 2.9% of the entry fee.)
