Amateur (U1400): $300-150-100-70

$20 less if joining the Amateur (U1400) section

$90 late / on-site entry

$40 re-entry (examples: 3-day à 2-day; U1400 à U1800)

 

Schedule:

No need to check-in if you have already registered online.

 

3-day schedule: Friday: On-site Reg: 5:00-6:00PM; Rd 1 – 7PM; Saturday: Rd 2 – 11AM,

Rd 3 – 5PM; Sunday: Rd 4 - 10AM, Rd 5 – 4PM.

 

2-day schedule: Saturday: On-site Reg: 9:00AM-10:00AM; Rd 1 – 11AM, Rd 2 – 2PM, Rd 3 – 5PM. Sunday: Rd 4 - 10AM, Rd 5 – 4PM.

 

Membership:

US Chess Membership must be current for all players. Kansas Chess Association (KCA) membership must be current for all Kansas players; Other States Accepted. Both memberships are available to be purchased on-site.

 

Format:

5 rounds Swiss – 40 moves in 100 minutes, SD 30 minutes, with 10 second delay (40/100, SD 30, d10). 2-day option: Rd 1-2 Game 60 minutes with 10 second delay (G/60, d10).

 

Three Sections: Open, Reserve-U1800, and Amateur-U1400 (Based on June 2023 Rating Supplement and CCA Minimum Rating List)

 

Bye: 1 Half-point bye is offered for any round, if requested before the start of round 2.

Equipment: Please bring boards, sets and clocks to the event. Limited Acerook Chess Enterprises’ equipment will be available to loan per round basis.

 

COVID Protocols: ACE Tournaments will follow any business, county, state or federal health mandates in effect during the tournament period. All players and staff will be required to follow these mandates, if any. Up-to-date information will be posted on the tournament website, including any health mandates or cancellation of the tournament.
