4 round Swiss. Rounds at 10:00 a.m., 1:15 p.m., 3:45 p.m., 6:00 p.m. Time control: G/65;d5.
Prizes: 1st: $125, 2nd: $100, 3rd: $75, 4th: $50. Prizes based on 15 players, otherwise 80% guaranteed.
Entry Fee: $30 online before 4/29. Between 4/29-5/3, $40. At door: $50.Cash only on-site registration from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 4

US Chess rated Reserve Section (Under 1400):

Unrated Beginner Kids Section:
For kids just getting started in tournament play and do not have a US Chess rating.
4 round Swiss-style tournament. Round 1 starts at 10 a.m. Rounds 2-4 ASAP.
Trophies for top 5 places.
Entry Fee: $10 online or at the door from 9:00 - 9:30 a.m.
Bring chess sets and clocks. Some will be provided for those without.
Additional Information:
Byes: One 1/2 point bye per player. Last round bye must be requested prior to the start of round 2. Byes for other rounds must be requested 1 hour prior to the start of the round. NO ELECTRONIC SCORESHEETS. Light refreshments and pizza provided by Western Illinois University. Cell phones must be off when in playing area.
