1200+ Quads (K-12 & Adults) Open to all rated 1200 and above and any adults regardless of rating. Quads are broken down into 4 player groups with prizes for each group.

Adults under 1200 are placed into the appropriate quad group.

Under 1200 (K-12) - for intermediate level players (minimum rating: 700)

Under 800 (K-12) - for beginning to intermediate level players (minimum rating: 300)

Under 400 (K-8) NEW - Rated section for beginning level players and new unrated players

Not-Rated (K-8). This section is not rated. US Chess membership is not required for this section. Beginning players wishing to play rated games should select either the Under 400 or Under 800. Limited to under 300 in rating.

All rated and unrated players in grades 9-12 must play in the U800, U1200 section or 1200+Quads (if they qualify). For all rated players rating must be within 100 points of the next section to play up into U1200 or higher.

3 Rounds at G/40;d5 for 1200+ Quads

• 1200+ Quads: Cash Prizes: $100 for 1st in each group. $50 for 2nd if there is a 6 player group.
• U1200: Trophies for Top 5 individuals plus participation award for others.
• U800: Trophies for Top 5 individuals plus participation award for others.
• U400: Trophies for Top 5 individuals plus participation award for others.
• Not-Rated: Trophies for Top 5 individuals and participation award for others.
• TEAM TROPHIES for Not-Rated, U400, U800, and U1200: Top 3 teams (2 player minimum, top 3 scores count for team total score)

$40 after that online until 4/20
