First round starts at 12:00 PM

Subsequent rounds with rounds progressing as completed (ASAP)

11:00 – 11:30 AM for all sections.

(PLEASE NOTE: If you register after 9:30 AM or 11:30 AM respectively, your play may begin in Round 2.)

SECTIONS

(Must be within 100 points to play up)

Non-Rated (K-8)

U700 (K-8)

U1200 (K-12)

1200+ Quads (K-12 & Adults) Open to all rated 1200 and above.

Quads are broken down into 4 player groups with prizes for each group.

TIME CONTROLS

4 Rounds at G/25;d5 for Non-Rated, U700, & U1200

3 Rounds at G/40;d5 for 1200+ Quads

AWARDS

(Tiebreakers used to determine trophy winners)

Non-Rated: Trophies for Top 5 individuals and participation award for others.
U700: Trophies for Top 5 individuals plus participation award for others.
U1200: Trophies for Top 5 individuals plus participation award for others.
1200+ Quads: Cash Prizes: $70 for 1st in each group. $50 for 2nd if there is a 6 player group.
TEAM TROPHIES for Non-Rated, U700, and U1200:
Top 3 teams (2 player minimum, top 3 scores count for team total score)

ENTRY FEE

NOTE: Online registration for this month ends Sat 4/6 at 8:00 pm.

Discounted $35 online through 3/31

$40 after that online until 4/6 8:00 pm

$50 at the door (absolutely no later than 11:30 AM)

Note: $2 processing fee added for online transactions.

Chess sets provided. Free Wi-Fi. Pizza lunch available.
