Top Illinois Winner of the Open section represents Illinois at the National Senior Tournament during the U.S. Open July 27 - July 30
Out of state players are welcome to participate.
Eligibility: Tournament open to all born on or before July 27, 1974. Must be 50 or older as of July 27th, 2024. The July date is used instead of May as it is the eligibility date for the National Senior.

Sections: Open and Reserve (Under 1750 or unrated). Open section is FIDE rated!
Schedule: G/90;+30 - Sat. 10:00am, 3:00pm and Sun: 10:00am, 3:00pm.
One 1/2-point bye available any round, must commit before round 2.
Prizes: $1,000 b/30 paid entries!
Unrated players qualify for top prizes only.
Sections may be combined depending on attendance. If they are, then prizes will be adjusted to fit the combined section.
