$15 per registered player = Prize fund.

Cash Prize Fund per registered players:

10 - $150 1st Place - $60
15 - $225 1st Place - $90
20 - $300 1st Place - $120
25 - $375 1st Place - $150
30 - $450 1st Place - $180

40 - $600 1st Place - $240
50 - $750 1st Place - $300

Please note that due to the registration list being public we will not do a full refund at any time. You may request a partial refund of UP TO 50% so we can maintain the prize fund people expect after seeing the amount of registered players.

1st Place 40% * Prize Fund
2nd Place 30% * Prize Fund
3rd Place 20% * Prize Fund
Biggest Upset 10% * Prize Fund

Please note that unrated players are NOT eligible for biggest upset prize and any draw will be calculated at 1/2 point upset as per USCF rules.

Example: a 1000 rated player drawing a 2000 rated player would be a 500 point upset. A 1500 rated player BEATING a 2000 would be the same 500 point upset. If somehow there is a tie for biggest upset the prize for that will be split evenly. So a 1600 BEATING a 2000 would be less of an upset as a 1000 drawing a 2000.

Equipment: Players should bring their own boards pieces and clocks. The TD only has a small limited amount of boards and clocks that can be loaned out. Make sure the time on the clock is set to 45 minutes plus 15 seconds increment.(Increment and delay are NOT the same thing and are NOT interchangeable)

If you have any questions please Email Austin at FromRooksWithLove@aol.com or text him at (316) 372-4515

A fountain pen will be available to BORROW for free or a nicer pen you can keep forever and ever will be available for purchase. An estimated 50 BILLION plastic ballpoint pens are thrown away every year. Let's not be part of the problem <3
