Description
If you are registering for both events, please fill out the registration form twice, once for each section!
This is two separate events on the same day, with the rapid Swiss starting at 9 AM and the blitz Swiss starting at 4 PM.
All players play in one OPEN section with class prizes (see below!).
Rapid: USCF Quick-rated single 7-round Swiss, one open section.
Time control: G/10;+5s.
Round times: 9:00 AM, 9:40 AM, 10:20 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 12:40 PM, 1:20 PM
Blitz: USCF Blitz-rated single 9-round Swiss, one open section.
Time control: G/3;+2s.
Round times: 2:00 PM, 2:15 PM, 2:30 PM, 2:45 PM, 3:00 PM, 3:15 PM, 3:30 PM, 3:45 PM, 4:00 PM
Pairings and prizes based on USCF January monthly supplement.

Players can take a maximum of 3 half-point byes. Half-point byes must be requested 20 minutes before round 3 starts.
Withdrawn players are not eligible for cash prizes.

Players can take a maximum of 4 half-point byes. Half-point byes must be requested no later than 10 minutes before round 4 starts.
Withdrawn players are not eligible for cash prizes.
Registration
We have a limited capacity of 72 players per section, register early to secure your spot now!
Early: $25 by Mon February 23rd, 11:59 PM MST.
Regular: $30 by Fri February 27th, 11:59 PM MST.
On-site: $35 on Sat February 28th.
On-site registration for the rapid section after 8:30 AM will be given a round 1 bye!
On-site registration for the blitz section after 1:30 PM will be given a round 1 bye!
Free entry for players rated 2200+ USCF or 2100+ FIDE: Please email asuchessteam@gmail.com with your USCF/FIDE ID & Name!
No prize deduction if entered on or before Mon February 23rd, 2025.
$25 deducted from prize winnings if entered after Mon February 23rd, 2025.

Prizes
For each section, based on 40 entries:
1st - $200.00 (20% of entry fee)
2nd - $120.00 (12% of entry fee)
3rd - $60.00 (6% of entry fee)
Top U1800 - $60.00 (6% of entry fee)
Top U1400 - $60.00 (6% of entry fee)
Top U1000 - $60.00 (6% of entry fee)
Withdrawn players are not eligible for cash prizes.
