Event Overview
This is a USCF-rated event for the Kleptz YMCA of Englewood Chess Club. (Non-members from the community pay $5 to the YMCA at the site.) ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY. Cost: $20 for early registration by 9/9 (payable online).
Prize Fund. Guaranteed $150. 2 Categories—one prize per category. First overall $100; Under 1500 $50. Any profit will go to the Brethren Youth Group.
It starts at 9 am sharp.

3 Rounds – The time control is G45+5. New or first-time players must obtain a USCF membership by going to
Bring a clock and a regulation chess set. Some supplied. Clocks without an increment time (e.g., delay or analog) will be adjusted by adding 5 minutes.
The event is expected to be finished by 4 pm. Kids under 16 should have a parent present.
The tournament will take place in the Heritage Room. An alternative room is available for kibitzing and parents.
