Description: Chess tournament with 3 unrated grade level sections (K-3rd, 4th-5th, 6th-12th) and 4 rated sections (U600, U900, U1200, Open). All sections are 4R/SS G30 +5 second delay. USCF membership required for rated sections (no membership needed for grade level sections).
Prizes: Open Section: $150-75-50 (Top U1800 finisher $125); U1200, U1400, & U1600 Sections: $225-125-75. Trophies will be awarded to the top 8 finishers in the U600, U900. Bughouse Challenge winners will receive unique trophies. Participation ribbons for all players.
Where: Goodwin Hall at Benedictine University - Room 411: 5700 College Rd, Lisle, IL 60532
Rounds: Doors Open at 12pm. Round 1: 12:30pm. All subsequent rounds ASAP
Registration: Fee is $30 if registered by 4/5. Fee is increased by $5 if registration takes place after 4/5. No registrations accepted after 4/11.
2000+ rated players play for free.
