Tournament Details:

  • Venue: StarWizard Chess, 580 E Windmill Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89123
  • Time Control: 60 minutes with a 30-second delay to finish the game
  • Schedule:
  • Every Tuesday at 6:00 pm
  • Round 1: August 4, 2026 at 6:00 pm
  • Round 2: August 11, 2026 at 6:00 pm
  • Round 3: August 18, 2026 at 6:00 pm
  • Round 4: August 25, 2026 at 6:00 pm
  • Forfeit Time: 6:45 pm (45 minutes after the scheduled start time)
  • Registration Fee: $50 for 1700 above
  • $60 for U1700
  • Free for GM’s, IM's, WGM's, and WIM's
 
 

Tournament Format:

  • 4 rounds, Swiss system with accelerated pairing in the first round
  • Pairings will be posted days before each round starting with round 2.

Monthly Tournament Incentives:

  • Top 2 players: Free registration for the next month's tournament
  • Points towards Grand Finals qualification

The Grand Finals is a free to play tournament with cash prizes that players have to qualify for by playing in our tournaments throughout the year. Excited to see who's improved the most and who'll claim the top spot!
