Team Construction
- Teams of 4, up to 1 alternate (ALTERNATE IS OPTIONAL. Up to 5 players on a team)
- Team Average Rating MUST be 2200 or below
- October 2026 ratings used for pairings and prize eligibility purposes
- Unrated players will not contribute to team average ratings. Some exceptions apply (See Rules Document for more information regarding unrated players).
- If a player has a rating in USCF Quick/Blitz but no USCF Regular rating, then the highest USCF rating can be applied to the team average (Leave comment in
- Board order is determined by rating. Switches for board order for players within 50-points are allowed before round 1. (See FAQ for questions)
- Each team must have a team captain. The team captain is responsible for ensuring all results are submitted and that players are in the correct board order. Captains are also the first person the tournament director talks to in case of questions or disputes

- Friday, Nov. 6th: FREE BLITZ SIDE EVENT @ 8pm at the playing hall (link coming in August)
- On-Site Registration ONLY, 7:30pm-7:55pm
- Only free for players playing in the main event. $5 entry fee for players not playing in the main event
- 4 double-round Swiss and $20 to first place (8 games total)
- Time Control: G/3;+2
- Saturday, Nov. 7th:
- Format is 5-round Team Swiss, G/90;d5
- On-Site Registration: 9am-9:30am
- Rounds: 10am-2pm-5:30pm
- Sunday, Nov. 8th:
- Rounds: 10am-2pm
- Prizes given out ASAP, no formal prize ceremony
Entry Fee
- Early Bird Entry: $120 per team if registered by Sunday, Oct. 11th, 2026
- Regular Entry: $160 per team by Nov. 6th
- Same-Day Entry: $200 per team. Please register by 9:30am on-site to be paired for round 1

Playing hall: The playing hall is the Tuscarora Room. After you park behind the building, as you walk around the building counterclockwise, enter the first entrance you see on your left. It should be labeled as the Tuscarora Room. It is on the other side of the building from the main dining hall entrance. Since the room is part of Reisner Dining Hall, you can use Reisner Dining Hall in Google Maps as a reference if you're driving to the playing hall.
