Join us for a US Chess-rated, 4-round tournament at Legacy Plaza in Newton, Iowa — Building 1, 4th Floor.

Sections: Open & Scholastic
Time Control: G/30 +5

Round Schedule:
Round 1 — 9:00 AM
Round 2 — 11:00 AM
Round 3 — 1:30 PM
Round 4 — As soon as possible following Round 3

Registration:
Open — $20 advance / $25 in person
Scholastic — $15 advance / $20 in person
Registration closes at 8:00 AM.

Open Section Prizes:
1st — $100
2nd — $50
3rd — $25

Scholastic Section: Trophies will be awarded.

Players are encouraged to bring their own board, pieces, and chess clock if available. Please label any personal equipment.

Please arrive with enough time to check in before the first round begins at 9:00 AM.
