2026 New Mexico Team State Championship

Sections:

• Team Championship: USCF Rated, 3-Round Swiss, g/45d5
  • Entry Fee: $20 by July 24th, $30 on July 25th on-site

 

Prizes:

• Team Championship: Medals to top 3 teams. Medal to top players on Board 1, 2, 3, etc.

 

Schedule:

 Team Championship

July 12th -

• Round 1: 11am
• Round 2: 1:30 pm
• Round 3: 3:30 pm

 

 

Special Notes:

Team members may not take byes during the event. Players who do not participate in a round will receive a forfeit loss for their team for that round.

 

Team assignments: Teams will be assigned on-site before round 1. Teams will consist of at least two players. Number of teams will be determined by assigning equal numbers of team members for all teams. Players will be listed from top rating to bottom and drafted to teams by “snake draft” format.

Spectators: No spectators are allowed in playing areas when the games have begun for the day. A designated spectator area will be available.
