Casa's Mini Torro-ment

 

The Mini Torro-ment is a free and short unrated Swiss Chess tournament with simple prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of each division. This event is meant to introduce new players into the world of Chess tournaments.

Casa De Ajedrez would like to especially welcome the students of Pine View Elementary School in DeRidder, LA.

 

The tournament consists of 2 divisions

 - Elementary Division (K-5th grade - all skill levels)

 - Open Division (Kids to Adults - all skill levels)

There will be 4 rounds of G15;2i

 

LOCATION:

The tournament will held at the Henning Cultural Center

TIMES

- Introduction to "Chess Tournaments Class" starts at 9am.

- Doors open at 10:30 for the general public. (All players must wait outside until the class is over)

- The tournament will start at 11am and may end around 2pm (times may vary)

 

*Standard USCF rules will apply
