The MHK Chess Club invites you to an free open chess tournament! Join us Saturday, Nov 1st at the Manhattan Public Library for a fun, but competitive day of chess. US Chess Federation membership is not required, but highly encouraged. You can join at https://new.uschess.org/join-us-chess or onsite. 

Onsite registration opens at 9:00a and closes promptly at 9:20a. Please register in advance if possible. 

The library is located at 629 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502.

Notes:

1. While there is no entry fee, we ask for a $2 donation to cover transaction costs. if you cannot, no worries! We will cover the costs.

2. Please bring you own equipment. We have few extra boards and no extra clocks. All clock types welcome, but phone apps will only be used as a last resort. If neither player has a clock, players may agree to use one player's phone. If neither player has a phone, the game will be forfeit.
