Casa De Ajedrez, L3C is celebrating its 4th year since its founding with "The Casa Chess Tournament".

To ensure the club's continual success into the new year, the funds raised in this tournament will go towards the end of the year expenses. And as a thank you for registering, The first 20 players to register will receive a gift.

This tournament will be held at the:

Location: The Henning Cultural Center @ 923 Ruth St, Sulphur, LA, United States, Louisiana

Date: November 29, 2025

Time: 10AM to 4:45PM

On-site registration ends at 9:45am.

This tournament will be a:

- USCF Dual Rated Tournament. (YOU'LL NEED TO BE A USCF MEMBER)

- 4 Rounds Swiss Tournament

- G35/d5

Round Schedule:

Round 1 - 10AM

Round 2 - 11:30AM

Break - 1:00PM - 45 MINUTE BREAK (Bring your own lunch)

Round 3 - 1:45PM

Round 4 - 3:15PM

(Estimate 1 hour and 30 minutes per round)

(All round times are subject to change.)

Eligibility: Capacity limited to first 40 players, please pre-register to guarantee your seat.

Current USCF membership required.

Bring your own chess clock (USCF regulated)

(If you don't have a chess clock, no problem we have several)

(Chess boards will be provided)

Taking notation is recommended but not required.

Byes: 1 half-point byes available upon request.

(No requests may be made after the start of round three, other than for emergency situations.)
