When: Sat, March 18th. Registration from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.  

Classical and Quick Rated, G/45;d5 

Rounds at:  

11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. -  5:00 p.m.

Food and drinks will be available throughout the day on-site, also stay after the games to have a drink and dinner.

Don't have a USCF membership? No problem, you can still play and win prizes! 

(limited to players U1200 USCF and those who have never had a USCF membership)

Rated play prizes (based on 40 entries):

OPEN: 1st $200, 2nd $150, top U2000 $100

RESERVE (U1600):  1st $150, 2nd $100, top U1300 $50

Entry:  Earlybird - $25 by 3/16, $30 after 3/16, $35 day of

 

Unrated Section Entry Fees: 

Earlybird - $10 by 3/16, $13 after 3/16, $15 day of

Prizes: 

Prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.  Winners may select, based on place, between a chess set, clock, and notation book. 

 

• Free entry to titled players WFM and above. 
• Late entries will receive a half point bye for round 1. 
• All official USCF ratings (standard, quick, blitz) must be ‘under’ to be eligible for class prizes
• Free parking along Palmer Square. 
• Public Transit: steps away from the California Blue Line station. 
• 1/2 point bye may be requested before round 1, limit 1. Additional byes will be 0 point
• Boards, Pieces, and clocks will be provided.
