Note: The Junior Championships draws inspiration from the National Junior Open, a National Championship held by US Chess
Honestly, the idea is to grow this into a larger event in future years to come. Prizes are subject to be increased based on participation.
One does not need to be a MN resident. This is eligible to all individuals aged 21 and under as of 10/25/2026
Team Trophy is a K-12 Scholastic designation. Eligibility is determined by the K-12 school they attend. If a Team comprises more than 25% of the field, they may be asked to split up.
