All registrations will be done online. No on site registrations. No need to check in, just check the entry list on King Registrations to verify you are registered and then just show up at The Houston Chess Studio a little before 9am on Saturday to see which board you are playing on, take your seat, and be ready to rumble!
Brings chess sets and clocks if you have them. There will be a nice selection of chess sets and boards for purchase if you need or want one.
Due to the limited number of spots available there will be no refunds for cancellations.
FIDE regulations will be in effect. Most notably that means that no electronic devices may be brought into the tournament hall; including, but not limited to, cell phones, smart watches, and chess score keeping devices. No spectators are allowed in the tournament hall. Players who have finished their game may remain in the tournament hall, but if they leave they may not return until time for the the next round. Players who are 30 minutes or more late for the beginning of the round will be forfeited.
