Inagural Halloween Chess Tournament

First Round Begins at 10am  4 Rounds no elimination

In Person Registration and player check in from 9am to 9:30am See Kings registration to secure your spot. Space limited. You may go and drop offcandy prior to the event at the rec center but all registations are to be submitted in Kings Registration link and will be verified and crossed referenced.

Entry fee:  Required 2 pounds of candy to be used for upcoming Halloween Carnival at this locationon October 31. US Chess rating fees to be paid for by Crusader Chess.

Location:  Gary Del Palacio Rec Center 30001 Parkwood St ( next to Album PArk) 

Halloween Costumes are encouraged but not required.

Section: 5 Sections

US Federation OPEN to all US CHESS Members, Alll Ages

Scholastic: Kinder to 5th grade, Middle School 6th to 8th, High School 9-12th grade

Adult only"18 years+ open to all skills

 

Game Controls: 4 Rounds, no eleimination

US  CHESS OPEN: G/30:d0 based on US CHESS rules, game notation is required.

Non US CHESS Members G/20:d0 notation is encouraged but not required.

 

Prizes: 

US Chess Open: Trophies to 1st, 2nd and 4rd place winners.

Best Costue for Adult and Scholastic
