Please note, that regardless of which tournaments you participate in, if you pay the special bundle price it will work out to a $17 entry fee to each of the three tournaments! (2/3 of $17 is $11.34 for OctoSpassky) + (70% of $17 is $11.90 for Dr. November) + (60% of $17 is $10.20 for Wichita Open 2026)

You may request a 1/2 point bye for round 1 OR round 2 Additionally you may request a 0 point bye for round 1 or 2 if you already requested a 1/2 point by for the other. Rounds 3 and 4 will not allow byes unless a forced bye happens via odd number of players.
If a bye is appointed to you via odd number of players then you will receive a full point for that round. You will have the option to play a rated game with the House Player but the result of this game will NOT affect your one point bye.
Please note that due to the registration list being public we will not do a full refund at any time. You may request a partial refund of UP TO 25% so we can maintain the prize fund people expect after seeing the amount of registered players
Equipment: It is encouraged that players bring their own boards pieces and clocks. The TD only has a small limited amount of boards and clocks that can be loaned out. Make sure the time on the clock is set to 60 minutes with NO delay nor bonus. Just a raw 60 minutes.

A nice-ish fountain pen will be available to BORROW for free or a nicer pen you can keep forever and ever will be available for purchase. An estimated 50 BILLION plastic ballpoint pens are thrown away every year. Let's not be part of the problem <3
