EQUIPMENT: uniform equipment (boards, sets, clocks) is provided and should be used

TIME CONTROL: g/10+3 second increment. Accelerated pairings might be used.
ROUND TIMES: 8pm, 8:30pm, 9:00pm, 9:30pm.
PRIZES: $800 Guaranteed
Open Section: $200-$100, top u2001 $80, top u1801 $70. Overall winner is awarded the G/10 National Champion title.
U1601 Section: $150-$100, top u1301 $100.
RATINGS: Current US Chess Membership is required (you may join or renew your membership here). Tournament directors can choose the highest of the published US Chess ratings (regular, online regular, quick, online quick) for the purpose of pairings and prizes, but only one's Quick rating will be affected by this event.
ENTRY FEE: $45 before 4:00pm on 12/26, $50 afterwards. Entries received after 7:45pm might be assigned a 1/2-point bye for round one.
Refund Policy: If you register for the tournament and are unable to make it, please notify us at least two hours in advance of the start of round one. If this is done, then the IAC will refund your entry fee less the cost of online registration ($1) and payment processing ($0.30 + 2.9% of the entry fee.)
