ENTRY FEE(s):

Super Early Bird – $25 until 11:59pm on March 14th

Early Bird – $30 if registered by 11:59pm on March 31st, 

Late Registration – $45 if registered in April.

 

2  SECTIONS:  

OPEN  &  U1200

All games are unrated, but, USChess Regular Ratings will be used to appropriately group players by skill for prizes. 

Unrated players MUST play in the OPEN. 

 

 

PRIZES:  (b/40 entrants, 50% guaranteed) : 

OPEN  $240 1st place, $200 2nd place, $160 Top U1400

U1200  $160 1st place, $120 2nd place, $80 Top U800

All ties for prizes will split

4 Rounds (swiss)

• Back rank positions will be announced 10 minutes before Round Start Time
• Back rank positions will be determined at random from online source
• Maximum 10 minute study time allowed before start of game
• Position study may be done by conferencing with other players
• Example:  position announced at 9:50am, game MUST start by 10:00am (but can begin earlier if both players agree)

* One requested 0.5 point bye allowed in rounds 1-3 & must be requested before pairing

 

** Round Times may be moved ahead, only with player consent – Otherwise, clocks start at 10  minutes past published times. **

 

*** BE ADVISED ***  All chess play will be in a public food court.  Ambient noise of a public venue should be expected by all players
