Note this Tournament is in the evening and should not compete with the Louisberg OTB tournament during the day. If you could not make it to one, hopefully you can compete in the other.
Tournament Details

Format: 7-Round Swiss System, managed via Chess.com's automated Swiss tournament system (Chess.com Online Club Event).

Time Control: G/5; +2 (5 minutes with a 2-second increment per move).

Schedule: Saturday, October 10, 2026. Check-in on Chess.com opens up to 1 hour before the start time (8:30 PM Central); Round 1 begins sharply at 9:00 PM Central Time.

Registration: Free advance online registration is required.
- Participants must be a member the First City Chess -USCF Rated Club on Chess.com https://www.chess.com/club/first-city-chess-club-uscf-rated and meet the full USCF rated requirements listed below.

Requirements & Technical Rules

Official USCF Rating & Membership: Submitted for official US Chess Online Blitz rating. All participants must be current members of the United States Chess Federation.

Platform & System Check-in: Hosted on Chess.com via the private club environment. Your Chess.com account username must match your real-name registration. Chess.com permits check-in up to 1 hour before the start time.

Attendance & Drop Policy: Failure to sign in prior to the tournament start time may result in being dropped from the tournament. All official withdrawals will be honored up to the close of tournament registration.
