Join us for a multi-week rated club tournament at First City Chess!

Format:
• 3–4 Round Swiss (final round count based on time constraints) and KCKCC Campus Schedule
• USCF Rated (Dual Rated: Rapid & Quick)
• Time Control: G/30 (no delay, no increment)

Schedule: All Rounds will start No Later than 6:10 PM
• Round 1: Thursday, April 23, 2026 
• Round 2: Thursday, May 7, 2026
• Round 3 (and possibly Round 4): Thursday, May 14, 2026

First City Chess Club
Pioneer Career Campus – Room 146
Leavenworth, KS

Entry Fee: Free

Eligibility:
• Must have a current United States Chess Federation (USCF) membership
• Must be a current First City Chess Club member

Equipment:
• Players are expected to bring their own boards, sets, and clocks
• A limited number of club sets and clocks will be available on a first-come basis

Byes & Forfeits:
• One ½-point bye may be requested
• Bye requests must be submitted before pairings are posted for that round
• Requests made on the day of the round will not be honored and will result in a forfeit

Pairings & Attendance:
• This is a continuous Swiss tournament; players are expected to participate in each scheduled round
• Players not present at the start of their round may be subject to forfeit

Additional Notes:
• The Tournament Director (TD) may play bye games in the event of an odd number of players
• No prizes will be awarded—this event is focused on rated play, experience, and competitive development
