Sections / Format / Time Control:

• 1800+ Section:          4 Round SS,  G/45;+5
• 1400-1800 Section:   4 Round SS,  G/45;+5
• 1000-1400 Section:   4 Round SS,  G/45;+5 
• U1000 Section:          4 Double Rounds SS, G/30; (each player plays 2 games black/white vs. same opponent for total of eight games)

  Round Times:  9:30 am   11:30 am   2:00 pm   4:00 pm

Entry Fee: $50 by 8pm 12/5

No onsite entries 

($10 Processing fee for all refunds. No refunds after 8am 12/6)

 

Note:

1. US Chess rated - must be a US Chess member to participate
2. Please request byes at the registration (0-point bye for the request on site).
3. Players should bring their own sets, clocks, pencils & scoresheets.
4. Notation is not required for players in the U1000 section and in 3rd grade and below.
5. Play-up option is available to players within 100 (200 for 1000-1400 section) USCF rating points of the section they want to play in.

 

Cash / Trophy Prizes (based on 80 paid entries in all sections combined):

• 1800+ Section:            $200-100-70-50
• 1400-1800 Section:     $100-70-50
• 1000-1400 Section:     $100-70-50 

• U1000 Section:           Trophies for top 3 players
