Entry Fee

Entry fees support our nonprofit mission, club operations, and help us honor HRCC founder Ernie Schlich’s legacy for all ages.  Your move makes a difference at HRCC/HRCA! 

• $10 Early Entry Fee until 6:29PM 11/10
• $15 Late/onsite Entry after 6:30PM 11/10

• Online Registration only to speed up check-in and maintain nonprofit compliance

• Registration closes at 7:15 pm.  Games start at 7:30 pm.

 Format   

• 3RR G/15;d3 
• Rated and unrated sections - Rated players will be grouped by rating
• In the event of uneven registrations, the tournament director reserves the right to use a mini Swiss-system format (3 rounds)
  
  
• Current US Chess membership is required for rated sections. Click here if you need to join/renew.  Rated section games will be submitted for rating
• No bye requests
• All equipment provided, including clocks

Privacy Policy: HRCA's participant and contact lists are organizational assets. They may NOT be accessed, copied, shared, or used by current or former staff, volunteers, board, other individuals or outside organizations for unauthorized purposes, including private business promotion.  

Photo/Name Usage Policy: Please be advised that photos and/or videos may be taken at HRCA events for use in HRCA's marketing, grant reporting, educational, news, or other promotional materials, whether in print, electronic, or other forms of media, including on our website and social channels. HRCA will not identify images using the full names of those photographed without express written permission.  HRCA may use your first name/last initial  to announce results in electronic communications.   By attending an HRCA event, you consent to have your image or name recorded for distribution and agree to release, defend, hold harmless, and indemnify HRCA from any and all claims, including compensation, involving using your picture or likeness.
