• The organizer reserves the right to alter the format/sections based on attendance.

Playing Schedule

• Check-in/Registration: 8:00-8:45
• Round 1 will begin no later than 9:30 with Rounds 2-5 ASAP 

Prizes

• A 5 Round Swiss System tournament, each grade level is a separate contest (with the exception of a 3rd/4th combination) with awards for the top ten individuals at that grade level section. Trophies will be awarded for the top three individuals and a medallion for each in 4th through 10th place at their grade level. Pupils must register at their own grade level.

Tournament Entry Fees

• $5 if registered online by 2/20/2026
• All Payments will be collected at the door, make checcks payable to Georgetowne Middle School. 
  
  • Payment may also be mailed to Georgetowne Middle School, 51
    Yates Rd, Marquette Heights, IL 61554
• Players registering at the door might not be paired in the first round.
• No Online Entries will be accepted after 8 PM on February 20th.
• USCF membership required
  • GPCF will cover the cost of all USChess Memberships. Players registering without a membership should use 99999999 as their ID# when registering.
