Format:
- Open: USCF rated 4 Round Swiss, G/90;d5, $40 Entry Fee
- Scholastic (U900): USCF rated 4 Round Swiss, G/25;d5, $20 Entry Fee
- Simul Side Event, Open to players or non-players. Play Daniela Keller, one of New Mexico's top-rated women and an experienced chess coach. Open to all players rated under 1300, no gender or age restriction. 20 player cap, $15 entry fee, this side event is not USCF rated
Prizes:
- Open: 1st - $200, 2nd: $100, Biggest Upset: $50
- Top finishing NM Resident in will be named the 2023 State Women's Champion. In the result of a tie a blitz off will be played for the title. Prize money will be split evenly among first place finishers
- Scholastic: Medals for 1st through 3rd. Positive score medals to all finishers with at least 2.5 points who do not receive a place medal.
- Simul: $20 and a medal for a win, medal for a draw
- All players receive a $5 Gift Certificate to Artemis Games with their entry

- Rounds 1-2 on Saturday, April 22nd: 9:00 AM, 1:30 PM
- Rounds 3-4 on Sunday, April 23rd: 9:00 AM, 2:30PM
- Scholastic Schedule:
- Rounds 1-4 on Saturday, January 21st: 9:15AM, 10:15AM, 11:15AM, 12:15PM
- Simul Schedule:
- Sunday, April 23rd at 1:00pm.
Registration:
- For the Open and Scholastic section USCF Membership required and entry is limited to Women and Girls. The Simul is open to all players rated under 1300
