Park in the main parking lot and proceed into the main (north) doors by the flag pole. The tournament will take place in the media center.
Register for either the Scholastic or the Open section.
The Scholastic section is for K-12 students. It will consist of 4 rounds (Swiss System), G/15; d5 (each side has 15 minutes to make all moves, with a 5 second delay before each move).
The Open section is for all other players. It will consist of 3 rounds (Swiss System), G/45; d5

Scholastic 1:00-1:45-2:30-3:15 Or ASAP
Open: 1:00-3:00-5:00 or ASAP

Open (based 16): 1st $40; 2nd $20; U1800 $20; U1600 $20 U1400 $20 No Play Offs
Registration:
On-site registration 12:00 Noon. USCF membership is required. On-site USCF membership is available at an $11 discounted rate if a student has never registered for the USCF before.
Additional information: Byes: One 1/2-point bye per player. Last round bye must be requested prior to the start of the 1st round to receive a 1/2 -point. Byes for all other rounds must be requested 1 hour prior to the start of the round. NO ELECTRONIC SCORESHEETS. No spectators are allowed in the playing hall 10 minutes after the start of the round. Players are allowed to spectate after their game is over. Spectator rules are subject to change.
