2027 WISCONSIN RAPID AND BLITZ STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

RAPID

4 round Swiss System in 2 sections with a time control of Game/25 minutes +3 second increment per move.  Regular ratings will be used for pairings and prizes, but event will be quick rated.  Accelerated pairings may be used pending turnout.

Entry Fee: $32.17 by 4/27 or $37.32 later or $35 onsite.  (Entry fee includes credit card and KingRegistration Fees for online entries)

Prizes:  Reserve: $$b/30:  $100-80, U1000-50, Unrated-50

Onsite Registration: 5/1 9:00-9:30 am.

Rounds: 10 am, 11:15 am, 1 pm and 2:15 pm.

For requested byes use rounds 1-4.  One max.

 

BLITZ

5 round Double Swiss System with a time control of Game/3 minutes +2 second increment per move.  Regular ratings will be used for pairings and prizes, but event will be blitz rated.

Onsite Registration: 5/1 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Rounds: 4 pm then ASAP.

For requested byes use rounds 5-9 as blitz rounds 1-5.  One max.

 

Entering both events online?  Save!  Combined Entry Fee for Rapid and Blitz is $52.75 by 4/27; $63.04 later.

 

Prizes For each event:  Rapid: $$b/55 in the Rapid and $$b/40 in the Blitz:  $150-100. A-$90; B-$80; C-$70; D-$60; E-$50 and Unrated-$50
