2023 WISCONSIN STATE SCHOLASTIC CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP

March 18-19, 2023
This section is a 4-round Swiss with time control of g/60 + 5 second delay. It is intended for adults (parents, guardians, coaches, etc.) who accompany players at the State Scholastic, but junior players are welcome to join. Please note that ratings are only used for pairing purposes, but the event is not US Chess rated.
Round times: Saturday at 2:30pm and 5:00pm, Sunday at 9:00am and 11:30am.
Prizes: trophies to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places
EF: $30 by March 17th, $40 afterwards.
COACHES' MEETING: We will discuss and ratify all rules and changes at the meeting in room 307 (theater) at 1:30pm (shortly after the 2nd round for Varsity starts). Any rules change proposals need to be sent out one month before the event. Any rules changes not sent out a month in advance need a super-majority to pass.
