Location: Kumon Math and Reading Center of Buffalo Grove - South, 727 East Dundee Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 (Located in Carriageway Center)

Sections/Time control: 3 round Quad with choice of 2 time controls (G/60; +30 second increment or G/80;d5). USCF Regular Rated.
Format, Rounds, and Section: Four players with similar ratings in the same quad. 3 round Round Robin.
Entry fee: $10 by 8/3, $15 after, $20 on-site.
On-site entries: If space is available, on-site entries are taken on as first-come, first serve basis starting at 9:00 am. On site entry-fee is $20, cash only.
Schedule: Check-in and registration 9:00 - 9:30 am, first round 9:45 am, lunch, second round 1:20 pm, third round: 4:45 pm. Player must check in by 9:30; players who arrive late will receive a half-point bye for the first round and/or be paired with another late arrival or TD. You may take one half-point bye in any round.
Master and Expert Entries: First five Masters and Experts play for free. If your USCF regular rating is 2000 or higher, email your name and USCF ID to HiroHiguchi@Rocketmail.com the day before the tournament to pre-register.
Food: Lou's Pizza Factory right next door (15% discount if you mention chess tournament)
Prize: Players with perfect score (3 wins, no draws or losses) in any section, gets free entry in future Higuchi Quads.
Other information: Bring boards and sets, limited number provided. Bring digital clocks, limit 40 players
