Description: Chess tournament with 6 rated sections (U600, U900, U1200, U1400, U1600, and Championship) and 2 unrated scholastic sections (Elementary and Junior High). All sections are 4R/SS G45;d5 second delay. A Bughouse Challenge will take place during lunch and game analysis will be available throughout the tournament. Concessions and chess supplies will be available for purchase as well. USCF membership required for rated sections.
Prizes: Based on 75 rated entries. Trophies will be awarded to top 5 finishers in the unrated scholastic sections and the U600 section. All other rated sections: $110-75-40; Championship Section: $150-100-50, Top U1800 finisher $100. Championship Section winner will have name engraved on DuPage County Chess Championship Cup. Bughouse Challenge winners will receive a unique trophy. All players will receive a participation ribbon.

Rounds: Check in is from 9:00 - 9:45 am. Round 1 at 10:00am, rest ASAP. Rated sections will end at approximately 5:30pm; unrated scholastic sections often end much earlier than that.
Registration: Fee is $30 for all unrated scholastic sections and $35 for all rated sections, if registered online by 12/26. Fee is increased by $5 after 12/26 and $10 if it takes place at the door. 2000+ rated players play for free. Bughouse Challenge is free for all participants.
